In his multifaceted artistic practice, Linus Rauch engages with materiality, different forms of temporality, and their relation to human existence. He frequently incorporates found objects, architectural structures, or historical traces of the respective exhibition sites, transforming them through precise interventions and minimal gestures. While deliberately restrained, these interventions open up new readings of the existing materials and spaces. The result is both site-specific installations and works that can be understood as painting, exploring the boundaries between image, object, and space.
