Artist Talk & Guided Tour: Dreams of Embers Days of Ashes

ARTIST TALK & GUIDED TOUR
Nicole Büsing & Heiko Klaas
Dreams of Embers. Days of Ashes
30. OCT 2026, 7 PM

Some paintings can be reproduced. Others have to be stood in front of. Anna Guðjónsdóttir's Dreams of Embers Days of Ashes is of the second kind: a display case painted on site across the length of a wall, a red that seems to keep its own heat, fire and what it leaves behind, felt before they can be named.

As part of the accompanying programme, we warmly invite you to an Artist Talk and Guided Tour.

Anna Guðjónsdóttir will be in conversation with the art critics and journalists Nicole Büsing and Heiko Klaas, who have followed her work for many years and wrote the text for the exhibition, as well as with Roland Nachtigäller of the Stiftung Insel Hombroich.

An evening to look slowly, to listen, and to see the work through the eyes of the artist who made it.

We look forward to welcoming you.
