We’re thrilled to announce our first exhibition in Berlin. The duo-exhibition ELLE ELLE is on view from April 27. – 30. at Auguststraße 35.
Hannah Bohnen and Linus Rauch activate the space with a charcoal wall drawing. Based on a digitally created vector and applied by hand, this collaborative work is a trace of bodily presence and digital technology alike. It is reflecting our current way of engagement with the world, as we are wavering continuously between the physical and virtual. Digitalization of many aspects of our lived experience has become commonplace, leaving us longing for material, sensory and tactile perception.
A thirst for this physicality is shared by both artists and can be encountered in Hannah Bohnen’s engraved and lacquered panels and Linus Rauch’s delicate textile-based paintings that are shown in connection with the wall drawing.
