STATEMENT

My sculptures, surfaces, and installations engage with movement phenomena that permeate our daily lives. Through my work, I attempt to capture the uncertain, sometimes invisible moments of ephemeral action in forms, using dynamic materials and flowing shapes to communicate the fading and nearly imperceptible life of random gestures.

The artistic intervention serves as a reminder of transience and bestows permanence on what would otherwise be ephemeral. Materialities are fluid, almost as if time were documented in their relentless forward movement. Perception blurs, swirls, and reinvents itself. Through the interaction between observer and image, changes in direction are constantly altered and related to each other.

This results in new, changeable spaces and forms that amorphously slide into each other, separate, and then reunite. The transient can be simultaneously manifest here. The act of capturing the fleeting - making it absolute - is a method to uncover the course of time through artistic practice.
